Dascyllus or Domino Damselfish Trimaculatus classified in the family Pomacentridae. This species is a native of the Indo-Pacific region with an established presence arising form the southern coast of Japan in Australia.
These fish got their names from their own color palette. They have black bodies as a domino. There are three large white spots of their bodies, one on each side and one on the forehead. They are also called threespot dascyllus and Domino damsels. They tend to grow as long as 5 inches in length and have a lifespan of up to 10 years in captivity. These fish can swim to depths of 200 meters.
